I just delivered some new recycled glass jewellery to Pepper Street for their Little Treasures exhibition. All work is priced under $150 for this cash and carry exhibition, and it’s a great chance to buy some handmade products ready for Christmas!
Just wanted to pop in and say a BIG THANKS to Murray Bridge for supporting local handmade work. The 6th Street Handmade market was buzzing yesterday, with so many people out enjoying the sunshine, and the huge amount of talented makers.
This really is one of my favourite markets to do, not just because I am a local artist, but also because there is something for everyone at this market. There are beautiful stalls filled with gorgeous wares, there is the BBQ section, and there is also a kid zone! Can’t wait to do it all again next time.

I’ve really enjoyed playing with pink glass. I love the subtle colour in these earrings. So pretty, and sparkly. Some pieces are still available in my shop.
I would have to say that one of the most popular recycled glass bottles that I use is Bombay Sapphire Gin. The colour is great, and works for many different people. It helps if they like to drink gin, it kind of adds to the story….but either way the colour is super pretty.

I am really looking forward to being part of this market on Saturday! It has such a beautiful atmosphere, lots of great stall holders, good food, lovely location….I could go on and on, but maybe you should jump in the car and visit on Saturday. Weather is looking perfect for the day!
I had a lot of fun coming up with pink colour combinations. Pink, as it happens, is a colour that works well with lots of other colours. It’s classic with the greys and whites. And it’s really pretty for spring with the greens and purples.

There is always something on the to-do list! I am slowly making progress on some of the big orders that have come through for galleries. I will cross another order off the list today, and then move onto the next one.
