Day 6. Sunday sets

Recycled glass jewellery | glass flower beads made from a champagne bottle

I know from doing the markets, and from orders that I get, that lots of people like wearing jewellery that matches. I think there are lots of ways to make things “match” and I am going to try some different things here on Sundays.

This set features beads made from a French champagne bottle.

Day 5. Behind the scenes.

Behind the scenes Saturday! This year I am giving myself permission to rest on Saturdays. While it is awesome to create something every single day, I thought this year I would schedule a break from making each week. A chance to show you some behind the scenes images. This pretty much sums up my workspace when I am making beads!

Day 4 – Bethany Wines

Recycled glass jewellery | featuring beads made from a Bethany Wines bottle

On Friday’s I am going to feature jewellery made from new glass! It could be anything and I am quite excited to make that happen this year. It’s always interesting to try new glass, sometimes it works perfectly like this Bethany Wines bottle. I am making a sweet little range of jewellery from these recently discovered, very old bottles.

Day 2 – Recycled glass necklace

Recycled glass necklace | mixed beads feature in this necklace, from vodka, wine, gin and beer bottles.

Today I wanted to make a really versatile necklace, using lots of different recycled glass beads. I love how this necklace on leather came together. It features beads made from gin, vodka, wine and beer bottles! A great mix of colours.

You can wear this necklace doubled, tripled, quadrupled, or more if you like. Lots of options depending on what you are wearing and where you are going! It has a little clasp to help you layer the necklace.

Day 1 – Recycled glass earrings

Last year I had a lot of fun making jewellery from recycled glass beads every day! I made lots of new things, and tried all sorts of new techniques and ideas.

This year I have decided to continue my project with a few small tweaks behind the scenes that maybe you won’t even notice! I hope you’ll still find it interesting.

I had many requests to purchase products, so I am now making all of the products available for sale on my website. Link here.
