Before and After! A lady came into @tartscollective last week and said she had sadly lost one half of her favourite pair of earrings. She showed the remaining half to me and I told her that I had made them (see left hand side). I could tell they were many years old because I don’t use hooks like that any more, and I don’t finish earrings at the bottom like that anymore either. I tried a couple of different green glass rods, and couldn’t get an exact match, but this one was very close (right hand side) I love helping people find their favourite pair of earrings!

I am excited to let you know about two markets that I will be doing before Christmas this year. The first one is in Murray Bridge. It is on Sunday November 14 and will showcase handmade products on Sixth Street near the @murraybridgeregionalgallery . It will run from 10am until 3pm. The second market will be on Sunday December 5 at Crafers Institute. The @thelastofthecreatives market will run from 9am until 1pm and will feature a range of products at special pre-Christmas prices. Hope to see you at one or the other!

There’s something just right about putting freshwater pearls with glass beads made from a Moët champagne bottle.

I really love the purple ocean beads, and this shorter 4cm length. I recently added this length as an option when purchasing long earrings from my Etsy shop and I have been surprised that this is the option now most requested!

It’s school holidays here, so we are making the most of our days and having short breaks to recharge at various beaches in South Australia. This is near Port Elliot and I love how it matches the inspiration for the earrings I made today!
