Inspired by my recent beach holiday. Love the Southern Yorke Peninsula coastline. So many beautiful beaches to explore. Berry Bay would have to be one of my all time favourites, stunning water and rocks. Looking forward to putting a small collection of jewellery together from these handmade glass beads.
I have been enjoying a few incredibly beautiful and relaxing days in Marion Bay. Such a lovely part of the Southern Yorke Peninsula. We went swimming and squidding, and lots of lovely walks. No internet for me was a bonus! Now it’s back to reality. But that’s OK, I quite like my reality too 🙃
Big congratulations to the Murray Bridge Show for actually holding a show this year. With so many events being cancelled, they managed to work out how to hold a show, and still comply with all of the health regulations. Quite an effort! I love entering my jewellery in the show. I was raised in the country, and these shows are something to look forward to every year. I don’t know which necklace got first or second place, but I was thrilled to see the ribbons when I picked my work up this morning. If I had to choose, I would give 1st place to the middle necklace and 2nd place to the necklace on the left. Which would you choose?
Some new jewellery for @tartscollective today! A long necklace featuring beads made from recycled glass objects. Spending the day in the shop is one of my favourite things to do on a Saturday. Love the trip to Adelaide and a chance to check out a few shops.

I sent my newsletter out last night! I made a small collection of handmade glass bead jewellery inspired by the Pantone Colours of 2021 (grey and yellow) with a splash of pale green added to the mix. Some interesting beads came out of the kiln today! I am really liking these muted colours and can’t wait to clean them all and start making jewellery. I am working on a small collection of pieces for my next newsletter which will go out towards the end of the week. Have you subscribed?
