I have been making lots of long earrings lately, and sometimes people are surprised that I also make my own recycled sterling silver headpins. It’s another process in the studio. Starting with a long roll of recycled sterling silver wire I cut 11cm lengths of the wire, then using my torch I form the balls on the end, and then they go in a pickle solution to make them clean, and then they tumble for an hour or so to make them extra shiny.
