I have always had a bit of a soft spot for this colour! Skyy Vodka bottles make the most stunning cobalt blue beads. The addition of the silvery finishes makes this bracelet very sparkly indeed.

I loved making this special pendant for a special customer. Skyy Vodka for the base, decorated with all kinds of silvery finishes.
After making two different pairs of earrings (long version and short version), and a cute bracelet with this colour, it’s now time to make a necklace to pull it all together! I love being able to put colour into the clear wine bottles, and love this red blend that I have used. Red is quite a difficult colour to find in glass, so it’s nice to be able to still make recycled glass beads and make them red.
Long red earrings made from a wine bottle. What more could you want?
Long Bombay Sapphire Gin Earrings! Each of the beads decorated in a different way:
Oh, I do love the sparkle in this bracelet. The beads were made from a wine bottle, and embellished to make them extra sparkly!
I love using clear wine bottles to make beads and jewellery. There are so many things that I can do with them: make them sparkle with silver foil, make them sparkle with silver wire, make them sparkle with silver pixie dust!
These earrings! Super sparkly and colourful. They were made to coordinate with the bracelet from yesterday, and a necklace that I will show you soon…I love how an empty wine bottle can be transformed into a beautiful piece of jewellery.
I think this might possibly be the cutest bracelet I have ever made! The other day I was making beads using a wine bottle, adding red frit to them, and after I made some round ones, I made some small flat ones. As soon as I saw the beads I thought to myself “keep going” and I ended up making quite a few of these small flat beads.
I couldn’t wait to open the kiln the next day and see how they turned out. I quickly cleaned them, and made this bracelet, and I’m so happy with the way this turned out. I can see myself making more of this style going forward.
Following on from yesterday’s post, this bracelet was made with Hendricks Gin Bottle beads. I love how the dark brown beads look black when you wear them, and are such a pretty contrast to the silvery beads in the bracelet. Really loving the Hendricks gin bottle, and wondering why I didn’t smash it sooner to make beads!
