Sake Bottle Earrings

Japan has been on my bucket list for a very long time, so when I finally booked a trip (next year, can’t wait) I celebrated by indulging in some Japanese Sake. And then I made these earrings as a reminder to myself that it’s up to me to make sure my bucket list gets ticked off! What’s on your bucket list?

Reyka Vodka Recycled Glass Earrings

I love trying new glass bottles to see how they turn out. I was really intrigued by this colour as I don’t think I have seen anything like it. It’s a bit darker than the Banrock Station blue (see last photo). I actually really like this colour, but it works better making smaller beads than larger ones. Super satisfying!

Gallery M Exhibition

Two-tone earrings

Loving these little two-tone earrings. I used to make lots of etched versions of these for the Jam Factory many years ago, so it’s nice to revisit the idea a little differently now.
