I hope you have enjoyed the posts about Cobalt so far! Just to recap:
- The first week’s post was all about the striking colour that is cobalt.
- The second week’s post was about the different shades of blue that work beautifully with cobalt
And this week’s post is all about contrasting colours. Opposite cobalt on the colour wheel is a yellowy-orangey colour. I tried making beads with this colour glass, but when I put them with the blue beads, it just looked too odd. So, I tried a slightly different shade of yellow, a mustardy colour, and I think the result is a lot more pleasing.
The pictures below will take you to my online shop. There have been a few changes in the shop, which I will explain quickly here, and will then do a post about the changes in more detail. Essentially, I am now using my website shop as a place to buy the Colour of the Month ranges of jewellery. The items will be listed as one-off pieces. All other jewellery (recycled and Italian glass), will still be available on Etsy.
Next week I will share some cute earrings that will work with all of the necklaces I have made.
