I love how all the different recycled glass flower beads work so beautifully together in this necklace. There are beads from a Skyy Vodka, Bethany Wine, Banrock Station wine, Tanqueray Gin and Bombay Sapphire Gin!

Glass Flower Necklaces
I tested out some of the little flower beads a while ago, and was quite pleased with how they turned out. Today I made a necklace! Such a pretty little combination of flowers and colours.
Random glass objects
I love going to op shops to see what glass they have. I often find single coloured glasses and small bowls, and over the years I have built up a little collection of glass objects. For my exhibition at The Adelaide Remakery I selected 5 pieces that were different colours and made flower jewellery that look a bit like this:
A visit to Bethany Wines
It was lovely to visit Bethany Wines this morning! I love the drive from Murray Bridge to the Barossa Valley, and autumn is a great time to visit as the countryside is rich with colour!
Before I left this morning I finished off a couple of necklaces for Bethany Wines. I love using their wine bottles to make beads and jewellery for their customers!
Colourful flower necklace
Whenever I make earrings I need to make more than 2 beads to get a pair. Often I will make at least 4 beads so that I can get the earrings just right.
So after making these flower earrings on the weekend, I had several beads leftover, and thought a necklace like this would work well.

The end of summer blues…
Here’s to the end of another month, and the end of another season. Summer where I live has been a real mixed bag this year, lots of hot weather, and lots of crazy weather in between. I’m looking forward to seeing what the days of Autumn offer me in terms of creativity for this year long challenge.
Today is day 59 of the Recycled Glass Jewellery challenge, and I am sharing a photo of a necklace I made this morning. The beads are made from a Bombay Sapphire Gin bottle. Such a great colour!
Clear flower necklace
I have to admit that after making this red flower necklace, and this Hendricks Gin necklace, I have been a little bit obsessed with making flower necklaces lately!
This is the latest version of the necklace. I have made the beads from a clear wine bottle. I really love how this one has come together, so pretty.
