I was so pleased with yesterday’s flower earrings made from wine bottles that I decided to make some in different colours.
I’m also planning to make a little something special with the leftover beads, so make sure you come back tomorrow for that!

I was asked to make some colourful flower earrings out of wine bottles for Bethany Wines, and when I put them together this morning I wondered why I had never made them like this before!
I love using old wine bottles to make beads, and it’s nice to be able to add so much colour to them just by using bits of smashed up glass.
I have had some time this week to enamel some copper tubes, and I have been really enjoying the process. I love being able to get even MORE colour into the jewellery that I make!
These earrings are quite long, quite dangly, and very eye-catching. I was already a fan of the Bombay Sapphire gin bottle glass, but adding the enamelled copper makes it really pop.
I think winter is a great time to wear hoop earrings. For a start, they are less likely to get caught in your scarf! And they also look really cool.
I like this blue combination of beads. One of the beads was made from a Bombay Sapphire Gin bottle, and the other was from a Banrock Station wine bottle (decorated with some smashed up glass).
Time to try something a bit different….Bombay Sapphire Gin earrings that look a bit like this:
I have been trying to do both simple, and more complicated pieces lately! Today it’s time for some simple hoops. The beads have been made from a wine bottle. Such a great colour, and a simple style that just works!
Sometimes it’s nice to keep things simple! I have been putting lots and lots of beads together lately, and today I took a deep breath, picked two beads that matched, and made this really pretty pair of earrings. I love how they sparkle when you wear them. The hooks are a great length, and I’m currently testing this pair to see how they wear.
I was a bit inspired by yesterday’s earrings, to make a slightly different pair of earrings. This time the silver embellishments are on beads made from a Hendricks Gin bottle.
The little hooks are super cute. They still hook through your ears, but they sit really close to your lobe.
Nearly all of the rings that I wear (or combinations of rings) are silver and gold (or white gold and yellow gold). I love the contrast of these two metals.
I know, some people are “oh, I only wear gold” and that’s totally fine.
And some people are “yeah, I only wear silver” and that’s also totally fine.
But I love both metals, and I love wearing them together, so I guess that means I love these earrings!
These beads were made from a Coopers Ale bottle.
Autumn is definitely my favourite season of the year (followed closely by spring, and summer). But I love the colours of autumn, and the clothes of autumn, and the layers of autumn. And I tried to combine all of those ideas into this pair of earrings!
Rich shades of purple and brown, sprinkled with some red. Layers of beads, with a couple of different shapes. Really kind of sums autumn up for me!
