I love using clear wine bottles to make beads and jewellery. There are so many things that I can do with them: make them sparkle with silver foil, make them sparkle with silver wire, make them sparkle with silver pixie dust!

Beer bottles and gold leaf are always a winning combo! I’m quite fond of this particular necklace. I love how it really shows off the shape of the beads, and the gold leaf. So pretty, I think I might make some in different colour combinations…
It’s day 5 of my #ayearofrecycledglassjewellery challenge! I’m really loving making all of these new necklaces. I promise I will be making some new earrings very soon for all of the earring lovers out there!
Today I have put together a selection of cool blues, clears and silvery tones. Perfect for such a hot day! Reminds me that we are going swimming very soon. Stay cool…

These are some of my favourite beads to make, and I love the mix of colours in this necklace. It feels just right for a warm day like it is here.
I have used an assortment of recycled glass to make the beads in this necklace. It has ended up being a longer style necklace, another option that is perfect in this warmer weather.
